I hear you there. I broke down and went and bought a Droid X last night. I found a local walmart that had one in stock. Kept it for a day and returned it. I want a keyboard plus I wasn't really happy with the service.

Yep, that's it! Change the thread title to "Epic 4g Passes FCC!" and put confirmed! This is really exciting!

on the FCC page under list exhibits report it only shows a 1000ma battery though. Not sure if that is supposed to be spot on with what is supposed to be in the phone.

I noticed that as well. I was under the impression that we were likely to get at least a 1500ma battery.

Sweet, just checked my schedule, I work at 4 this sunday. If it comes out, I'm waking up early and heading over to a Sprint store to get it.

we are, 1500, just like the other phones. 1000 is smaller than the pre in a device twice as powerful... wouldn't bode well for even thinking about getting a days worth of use out of it.

well, if we get 6.5 hours with a 1000mAh, imagine a slim 1500mAh battery's life lol jk. I don't know what's up with that, but there is NO way it is anything else, unless if Samsung is pulling off a Galaxy S mini, which definitely won't happen.

Check this out:

Samsung Epic 4G SPH-D700がFCC通過|Blog of Mobile!!~最新ケータイ情?*?~

It's from a Japanese website, but the FCC ID for the Epic is:

FCCID A3LSPHD700

And here's another pic from the site:

Oh and here's the actual FCC site btw:

https://fjallfoss.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas...me=N&application_id=566932&fcc_id='A3LSPHD700'

Any day now!!

Congratulations, seems that all the other major sources are now reporting the same information as you. Except YOU broke it first. Thank you! I love forums!

I actually looked up a couple other FCC from T-Mobile and AT&T and they show 800mA and 1000mA respectively so it seems what the label shows there has nothing to do with the end product.
