Feature Suggestion - Write only with Stylus

Thanks for your advice. What you said makes sense.

On next Monday, I am planning to buy an active pen from Meko though now I am not sure which active stylus I should choose.

Your phone DOES NOT have the hardware for truly active styluses. The most you can get are powered ones, and those (in my experience) aren't any more precise than the plain rubber/metal-mesh tip ones. IIRC there are currently no bluetooth styluses for Android, and if there were, you'd be limited to the app for that pen alone.

Ok, thanks for your ideas. But I want one active stylus. Are there any cheap recommendations? Thanks in advance.

Only 'cheap' recommendation is the Tab A with stylus. Yes, purchasing a new tablet. (Or finding an used Note phone online...) There is NO active stylus for Android that can work without special hardware on the device (no bluetooth pen, no battery-powered pen... it needs actual hardware inside your phone or tablet to make it work). If you want to go the Microsoft way, only the Surface line has Pen input (and that's not cheap). Same thing goes for iPad; only the iPad Pro and the newest iPad they announced for schools (not sure if out yet or not) have the needed hardware inside to make the Apple Pen work...again, those aren't cheap options either.

Sorry but that's the way a truly active pen works. It's not just 'buy and use wherever I want'.

Thanks for your fast reply. I know what you said, however what I want is a passive stylus not only to work on an ipad as a stylus but to write on a paper as a pen. In all, I want one practical pen.

Thanks for your recommendation. Personally I don't like Galaxy Note 10.1 stylus. Instead I would consider Adonit, Wacom and Meko stylus, or other styli.

Good, just adjust your expectations of what those styluses can do. And again, the 'disc' ones have to be SUPER clean (as well as your screen) or they WILL scratch your device. What you wanted in the original post is NOT possible with a stylus like the ones you want. Sorry. If you just want a replacement for your finger and nothing more than the convenience of it (and an extra pen for paper), then go ahead. But don't expect anything but that from these styluses; they're not as precise, they do not add any features, they do not offer palm rejection, the device won't know the difference between using these and using your finger or using a paper clip with conductive foam on it. And yes, handwriting with these using thin pen strokes will be horrible, just as if you were writing with your fingertip.
