As usual in one country (Germany) and it'll be a month at least to reach the million Note 10 firmware variants.

I'm guessing our US unlocked Notes should have it within a week or so.

Yeah usually around that , but we been surprised before within days of International version.

Problem is the 5g variants have also being getting security patches very late since December. Hope this changes in due course.

Maybe because they are limited amount 5g ones compared to regular and have different firmware due to the 5g modem.

I don't know the ratio of 4G vs 5G worldwide but I would imagine Germany to be mainly 5G but I could be wrong

I got curious and Googled it
They do seem to have a fair bit of 5G having rolled out at the end of last year but if that translate into their Note 10's being mainly 4G or 5G only Samsung knows I guess

I would think the 4g be more popular option mostly do to cost I'm assuming in those markets , but like you say who knows for sure .

Pixel got update first this time ))

They always get update on first Monday of the month (with few exceptions) unlike Samsung which releases in one country just for bragging rights (may be) and will eventually roll out to everywhere else in few weeks to a month. And yes Pixel OTA may also take weeks but you can flash the OTA image day one on Pixel if you want to. Can't do the same for Samsung and have to wait for update to be available for a particular firmware variant based on country/carrier.

Not a big deal but it's funny some people brag about Samsung being better at security updates than Pixel

Downloading currently on my US unlocked Note 10. Same day as my Pixel 4 XL.

Got the update on my unlocked S10+ today. Checked a couple times yesterday with no luck.
