Few Note 4 features I can't find in Note 8..?

Hello.. I really loved my Note 4 (my first Android phone.. coming from Windows Phone) until I dropped it and was forced to get Galaxy S6. Now I got my Note 8.. I'm not seeing couple features in Note 4 that I used often.

First one is the S-pen's function to smart select multiple items and drop them in like a floating bucket and share them all at once. From what I've seen in Note 8, I can select one screenshot and have to save them to gallery.

Another feature is being able to open split windows without getting interrupted. With Note 4, when I was watching YouTube and get a message from friend in chat app, I could just drag open the chat app in 2nd windows without YouTube stopping. Now when I try to do that, the YouTube app stops, so I have to open 2nd window, come back to YouTube and hit play again.

Are those gone or am I not doing it right?
Thanks.

Not sure about the fix on those features. I have a N8, coming from a N4 and I really miss being able to hold the back button to have a list of floatable apps pop up.

Not sure about the selecting thing, but the multiwindow is a difference in implementation. On the Note 4, it was Samsung's own implementation which went around Android via several methods. On the Note 8, multiwindow is native to Android, hence works how Google designed it, and has no relation to Samsung's previous multiwindow feature.

There are a few things missing, i cant remember offhand but mostly (for me at least) things i never really used.
Writing on the S Planner
Stickers on the calender
Obvious one being Action Memo, but Samsung notes does what I need.
Then there's Easy Chart and Idea Sketch in S Note.
I'm sure there are apps that will suffice but they're not built in.
Like I said, to me it's not that important.

I posted about this before but I think it has relevance here. There are several functions that get disabled just to let one certain function work. Like the tap screen 3x magnify gesture. Never had to disable so many functions on my Note 4.
