Sorry, but its either exchange for another or wait like the rest of us, well you's (I got rid of my GNex) for a software update that may fix the problem. As far as the extended battery, if its just Verizon's/Samsungs then only expect another 2hrs of life from that. You can root and ROM but i was unable to find one that would fix my signal/battery problems, so I ditched the phone.

Looks like your data issue fix may come sooner then later. 4.0.5 may be here in April.
