Finally decided to buy an HTC One, what case to get?

i bought the keyscase as well and it kept in on for a few hours then off. their iphone 5 case was good but i didn't care for this one

I started out with the KaysCase but didn't like it all that much - it is not very protective and is cheaply made. I switched to the Cruzerlite Bugdroid Circuit TPU case and it is awesome. It is very thin but covers the edges and has perfect cutouts. I have the red one on a black HTC One and it looks beautiful!

i just can't go with the otterbox or lifeproof or whatever. been flying nekkid since I got it and no big drops but a few small ones and no scratches or issues...

I had one of those slim cases till I dropped it. I immediately purchased the otterbox commuter. Adds bulk but works. There is no point of a case if the phone gets damaged when you drop it.

All the posts! I appreciate your opinions. I came to the right place for a ton of different experiences. I ended up going with the KaysCase. It was surprisingly good for the price. I went with a clear hardshell and it gets the job done. I still get to see how sexy my HTC One is and it's protected my phone from some minor drops without getting scratched up. It doesn't protect the front of the phone, but I'd rather stick with the slim fit than add bulk. Overall I dig it a lot.

I normally don't care for Otter box cases either, I had a defender series on my S3 and I hated the extra bulk. The commuter series though for the HTC One is actually a pretty decent size. It makes the One about as wide as a Nexus 4, which isn't too bad for me since that's the phone I just switched from.

I do wish however that the One's power button was on the side, that is a topic for a completely different thread though. Lol

If you want a stylish case which offers medium protection then then poetic atmosphere is the one. I bought lots of cases and this is by far my favourite.

I opted for the Mophie Juice Pack, after all if you can't swap the battery and its designed to slow charge to maximize battery life why not have a spare battery all the time.
I'll probably be getting this beast once the One hits Verizon. Does the Mophie make it obnoxiously big at all, still easy to pocket? I've heard the case scratches the phone. I don't switch cases often, so this probably won't be an issue.

That NewNow case doesn't seem to provide much protection at all. I'd get either the Mophie or i-Blason. The i-Blason has the kickstand but I still think you'd have a hard time matching/beating build quality and battery quality of Mophie.

I've learned a lot from the phrase 'you get what you pay for'. A lot of 'extended batteries' for some other phones don't even have the life of the OEM battery.
