I have been trying to figure out how to sync my android with iTunes forever. I wanted to keep iTunes because I still use my iPod Touch when I have people over.
I was looking to keep using the original Music player that came with my Fascinate with the ability to update the Playlists. I used iTunesAgent until i updated to Froyo, which worked great to sync songs (I then labeled each songs' genre as its associated playlist). After updating to Froyo the new Music player had no genre label, so I had to find a new way around this. Well, I ended up giving DoubleTwist a try and it worked great, but nothing better than the original music player. After syncing...
WHAT I did notice is that it automatically updated the android Music player's playlists as well!!! So I'll be using DoubleTwist from now on to update my android. I'll have to give AirSync a shot once I decide to pay for it, to see if that makes the experience even better.
The only other thing laking, was the ability to turn up the gain on the phone. Since I'm running Froyo (SC 2.6 I think) there is no way to access the secret audio menu any more. So I downloaded Galaxy Tuner - An AMAZING APP. I ended up changing only the sound settings (13 on the sound gain and 100+4, 300+2, 875+3, 2400+2, 6900+4). Sounds and works GREAT now!
Just wanted to see other thoughts on this and what other people are doing about this issue! Thanks.
