I finally retired my four year old Pixel 3 and jumped to the 7. I was concerned because I'm on Total by Verizon and there were problems with the Verizon MVNOs.
The first thing I did was connect to my Wi-Fi and updated the phone. First it went to Dec 5, then after that it went to Feb. 5. Next I took the sim out of my Pixel 3 and put it in the 7 just to see if it would connect. I rebooted and bang it worked. Wi-Fi calling everything fine. The big surprise was when I got into town this morning I had 5G. I didn't know that the old sim was 5G, it was from Total before Verizon. I have a new sim but since the old one is working I don't think I want to mess with it for now.
So, far I love the 7. The old 3 was probably the best phone I've had, four years and it was still running good. Hopefully I can get the same performance from the Pixel 7.
