After years of crappy locked-up total-hacking-required phone OS's, this sure is a nice change.
A little out of my normal price range, but I've wanted to do on-phone dev work for a while now and it looks like this is going to be the only real way to handle it easy.
I really enjoy the fact that LG has open-sourced the software for this device! Delicious.
And, all the devs working hard at de-crappifying ROMS for it! All I've got to say is WOW. I tried AOSP's gingerbread cyanogen ROM, and it did work mostly OK; I just have no need yet for Gingerbread, so I'm trying "Stock Virgin Mobile + Xionia Kernel (BETA 2)" just to see if I like it.
A very nice device overall, andI'll be extremely happy with it once I find an external keyboard for it (even with swype, my fingers are having a hard time aiming properly for the tiny little keys on the screen.)
Looks like fun around here!

Check out the SwiftKey keyboard. I've tried pretty much everyone out there and it's my favorite. The word prediction is unbeatable.
