Finding maps cache

I recall finding the place where my offline google cached maps were kept. Can't find it now. Any help please.

Try Settings>Apps>swipe over to all apps>scroll down to Maps>click clear cache.

Thanks for that. What I want to do is actually SEE my maps cache to make sure I have what I need offline when travelling.

Thanks Patruns. I don't seem to able to find "My places"!

Yeah, I looked at that page again and it is for version 6.14.4 or below. Appears that you can save a map but no one seems to be able to find it later. I turned off my data and the app is non functional.
