If you are talking about your individual app info you should be able to go to settings and look for "App Info" there that tells how big they are (KB) etc. if that is what you are referring to.

I'm trying to figure out where that search app is coming from. It's not in applications manager its coming from somewhere else

What gets displayed when you tap on it? Does that screen have a menu?

It takes me to the stock browser. I noticed it said instagram text at the bottom of it. Got rid ofbit

Is the search icon also in the app drawer?
You can install Nova or Apex launcher. Drag the search icon to homepage. Long hold the search icon. It will give you the option of going into the app info (of the said icon) from there. Then just do what you want with the app from there.

It wasn't in the app drawer

Then it's probably an ad shortcut created by another app. That's how some of the free app works. Just delete/remove it.

I believe my first post indicated that I knew it came from a app. I couldn't remember the name of AirPush Detector. Thanks for the help though

Use "appbrain ad detector"
It notifies you what an app can do right after you download it from play store. It's automatic.
