How can I prevent the need to use my fingerprinted security when the phone knows my gps location??

You can use the Smart Lock feature in Lollipop. If you go to Settings > Security > Trust Agents, make sure Smart Lock is On. Then exit the Settings and return to Settings > Security > Smart Lock. You can then choose Trusted Places and add locations using the map. Now each time that GPS knows that you are in one of these Trusted Places it will not require you to use your fingerprint. This works great for me.
