Fingerprint sensor slowing down?

Have read some reports of the fingerprint sensor slowing down with use. Anyone out there experience this?

Pleased to say I HAVE NOT, still super speedy and snappy.

Nope. I got my phone at launch and it's still super speedy.

I've had a few missed registers recently (like maybe 4 times these past few weeks). I think it might be an issue when my hands are cold or really dry...I don't really know, hasn't been a problem.

Mine has seemed slower in some situations, but I think it's more to do with the way I tapped when setting up compared to the angles I have been trying to use it.

I've seen no slowdown, but its entirety possible we've gotten use to the fast speed and as a result it doesn't seem as "wow" fast as before. It's also possible it's been slowing down incrementally and we just haven't noticed because the drop in speed wasn't as precipitous.

The fingerprint sensor in my opinion is still fine and fast.

Well this is all good. Pretty much 100% positive on no slowdowns. The fingerprint sensor is awesome!

Mine is super snappy and very accurate. I find it to be far superior to the fingerprint sensor on my previous device, the S7 edge. I think having it on the rear and a circle is part of the reason it is more accurate.

Yes, after about a month of use, my fingerprint scanner has slowed down and is not as accurate (but it's still great!)

Yes, I normally clean with a microfiber cloth (like the kind used on glasses)

Really strange. Mine hasn't gotten any slower in over a month.
