fingerprint settings disappeared on HTC u11

Hi, my fingerprint scanner stopped working yesterday on htcu11 and the fingerprint settings wouldn't open (just froze the screen and never opened). After doing a factory reset, the fingerprint settings option has disappeared from the settings menu completely. Any fixes? Only had this phone for a month

Me too... Mine remained less than 10 minutes in 20 centimeters of water. It seemed to me he was ip67 certified.
I contacted HTC this afternoon.

Welcome to Android Central! I would also recommend contacting HTC for warranty service. It's probably not worth doing more in-depth things like reinstalling the firmware (especially since it might affect the warranty).
