If you're running a Mac, there is only one Kies download file available. If you're running a PC, you have the option for Kies or Kies 3. On my Windows 8.1 Surface, I tried with Kies and the phone just wouldn't connect and when I plugged in watch, it required me to download Kies 3 and then both devices connected.

Is it possible to make the gear ring and vibrate at the same time or is it either or? I thought mine did it before the update, but maybe I'm wrong.

Ring OR vibrate. That's the only option I've found, before and after the update. It would be nice if it did both!
