VS98010B. When I tried to do the update manually it says download unsuccessful try again later.

I never got a notice. I read online it was happening and I forced it to check for updates and got it.
It still won't download. I have been trying since this morning.

From standby, knock on still only works maybe 50% of the time unless I touch the screen first pause and then double knock. Not exactly efficient.... On the other hand the knock off seems to be working ok.

I don't want to break TWRP with this update, so how can I get rid of the annoying popup reminding me of the update? I set it for 11 PM tonight, and had the update pop up twice since then. Reset it for tomorrow morning.

I rarely had an issue with knock on before. 1 out of 5 times i would have to repeat. Now i have yet to repeat. I also factory reset after the update, which i always do after any type of update. Sometimes makes all the difference in the world.

Did you ever get your update? I never did get mine and when I check it (just did a couple mins ago) I get the same response you do.
Did you change out the new SIM card that came with the phone? I did, I swopped it with the SIM in my GNex and now I'm thinking maybe that's why I can't get the update?
No I have not gotten the update yet. I swapped out my old note 2 SIM into my g2 as well.
Hmm that's something to think about. I keep getting the same message.

Whats the point of switching out the SIM cards? I got a new one with my phone. My old one is still in my Gnex.

The day I got the g2 the rep asked did I want to activate the new or just pop my old SIM into the phone.
I'm gonna call customer service to see why the switch of SIM cards would be an issue.

I bought the phone on a upgrade from another line. When I got the phone I just put the GNex SIM in the phone and was good to go. Until now LOL.

The tech said it shouldn't have anything to do with the SIM card. She said that the manufacturer sends out updates in batches n that maybe the batch that includes my phone hasn't been sent out yet.
She also said that when it does come it will be automatically. She said if it don't come through by Friday to call them back.
