First Attempt At Modified Themes

Started messing around with moding CM7 themes, so far:
replaced ~20 icons through out, some of which are in screenshot
Made custom dialer (any1 know how to chage the back ground while in dialer?
now working on battery icon - any1 know any trick to this rather then making 101 different images?(my 1st attempt is in pic)

I started of with Blood Red cm7 theme.. apk has grown to 19.2mb

any thoughts?
can i replace the background of the notifcation bar w/ a image?

PS can i resign the mod apk file? if so how? if not i'll just continue doin what i'm doin

A few thoughts... there are over 200 battery images. Also did you ask cyber if u could use his wallpaper for ur theme? Looking nice tho! U could always use the Theme kitchen to make your charge and discharge images....

To have a solid image across the notifications bar you need to mod the image...atm its just a square that is stretched on a single axis. Atm its a .9 PNG.

Your right, I only counted discharging images not the charging ones lol. As far as permission to use image, this currently isn't really a public theme really, since it's based off a paid there in the market, don't think that would be right. It was one I just found on Google. I looked at theme kitchen, I didn't see anywhere to use my own image, just the ones listed. Did I miss something?

Yea they have preset images...otherwise u can make all urself. Its a long process. As for the wallpaper I was just wondering cause I recognized the image. Looking good tho

OP: As long as you don't post the APK anywhere, you can do whatever you want to the theme. After all, you paid for it.

Jon: I don't think Cyber's background is actually part of his theme. I think it's simply the OP's currently set background.

wasn't planning on posting it figured that would be a easy way to piss someone off, posting their paid apk for anyone to easly get.... fyi i did add wallpaper to the theme's selection and set as default, even went ahead and change the apk icon and preview for theme selector (mainly so i can tell between the modded and DLed versions) since the modified apk isn't signed i have remove the old and push the new for every time i change anything, adding it to the theme is easier than choosing the wallpaper everytime. i just learned from someone on xda how to resign.. doesn't seem to be worth the trouble.. faster to install new version everytime i change somethhing the way i have been.

I'd be glad to share the icons i have if anyone is interested.. i got them from someone who made them for a CM4 theme and offered them up if someone wanted to update the theme.. i can give the forum link.
or ifsomeone was interested in the dialer or anything i made i'd be happy to share. i havn't messed with making a flashable zip yet so a i can't give that at the moment, if someone wanted to make one, i'd be happy to share what i made

Ok, the newest thing i'm trying to do.. i want to add new apps to the theme, i have status bar weather (pictured) and want to add the background to my theme. i could just change the apk, but i want this to be part of the theme.. I'v added a xml to the /xml dir, and added a line referencing it in redirections.xml
i recompiled,signed,and installed....no change
what am i missing?
