First day with the X!!!

Hey all, normally I don't say anything on here, just lots of reading.
Just sharing my enjoyment!!! Got my first Droid X today, and so far, I absolutely LOVE it!!!
Had the original Droid, and then the Incredible, and then the Fascinate. I exchanged my Fascinate for the X and have no regrets at all. I missed the full google experience on the Samsung. My signal is much stronger on the X and it feels more solid. Super fast and just seems more polished.
Thanks to all the info and the community here. Nice to know that I can find a answer if I need one!!!

NIce choice. I am very happy with mine. My wife finally jumped to the X from the Eris. She's on it constantly!

Returned my Fascinate this past Wednesday as well. Back to my droid1 and waiting for an X to come in.

It's good to hear everything is good. The X I played with in the store was very laggy, but I figured it was due to all the stuff people had loaded on it.

How long did you have to wait for your X after it was ordered?

I just returned my fascinate as well, very happy with the X! I wasn't going to wait again for software updates from Samsung to fix things like I did with my Omnia.

I ordered on Monday, shipped on Tuesday, received it yesterday. FYI, when I ordered it said it would ship by 9/22.

I love my new X too...

I had DROID, changed to DROID 2 but was not wowed... Traded it back in for the DROID X and now I am wowed. I cannot believe how much better the X is than any other phone including the DROID 2.
Why would I need a netbook when I have my X?

@Xlideride, Yep, the X is laggy. But the Froyo update will fix those issues...hopefully.

Today was my first day with the new X as well. I had a 8330 for a year and a half! I finally got rid of that damn trackball! I don't even know what words I can type in this box to express the excitement I've had all day! I work in the tree business, so I couldn't carry my phone in my pocket all day and it frikin killed me!

The X is a bit laggy out of the box because of all the bloat ware. Try using Launcher Pro or some other home launcher and you will be very glad you did. No more lagging, and the X flies!

Seidio Innocase makes a durable holster and clip set up that will fit big duty belts. Otterbox also will be releasing its tuff boxes for Droid X.

No need to go without your Droid fix! I too suffered the hell that is the Blackberry track ball.....aaaaarrrrgh....meh
