How is it? That article talks about the bionic this doesnt. So no its not the same.

Sounds like a good opportunity to begin advertising the bionic if the magazine is launched this week. Forgive me though, I didn't read the article deeply, but where did it say the bionic will explicitly not be in the Droid magazine?

The fact that it doesn't have the Bionic is my concern. If this magazine is really going to start getting in peoples hands around the same time the bionic is suspected to go on d-fill (7/28), kinda makes me wonder if 9/1 is looking more realistic. You would think DROID magazine would be a great place to introduce its flagship to the loyal droid alumni. Couldn't be a good sign for 8/4.....

Good point. I didn't even download the file. If it doesn't have the droid 3 then it would appear to be outdated. If this is the case then what's the point in spending the cash to send this thing out? Either way, I hope you're right! My poor OGD is dying quickly. I already have to pull the battery at least once a day and now my touch screen keyboard is miscalibrated and pretty much useless. The bad part is I've been sitting on an upgrade since 4/19. ugh!

I think this is more just to promote the brand and I guess it has coupons in it for accessories so it makes sense not to say a phone is coming soon then people would wait for that. I could be way off but mqybe they are using this to try and just get more people to buy a current Droid?

I just downloaded the magazine it has the droid 3 as coming soon so you can see it is old and was probably made this awhile back. They also still have the Droid Eris listed that you can buy lol.

I just really hope there is a leak this week. If the Bionic is really going to go up for sale on D-Fill next thursday I would assume there will be some controlled leaks real soon. I didn't follow the thunderbolt but it seems like we had some pretty good leaks on the charge a week or two before it went up for sale.

But those phones didn't have near the anticipation as the bionic has. Usually more leaks but with this its pretty much nothing. Even the Droid 3 went on preirder without any official word.

This what I was thinking to.. That this magazine should of had something about the Bionic coming soon. Nothing not even an accessory.. So I have a bad feeling about August 4 release date... Also I did not mean to post this here I had more then one page open and I meant to post it in another thread. When I went back to delete it was too late someone had responded and it will not let me do it. So I apologize for that.
