First impressions. Battery life.

First day with my Note 10+ at work all day. I charged to 100% before I left the house and I was at 88% when I got home at the end of the day. Made one hour long call and sporadically checked emails and text messages. Not bad.

I'm pleased with mine. This was Saturday night and that's been pretty consistent. I use auto brightness, but full WQHD. I'm on wifi at work and home. AOD 730 - 5. BT 24/7 with watch. Buds all day. I've purposely done nothing to save power and I'm good until bed time. I could actually wait and charge at work the next day.

I'm getting 13 hours of screen on time! I got 9:45 to 10 on my Note 9. I leave my device on medium power saving btw. But I'm loving the battery life on this phone!!

Ok, this I could get used to. But I was in the office all day yesterday, so I didn't use my phone as much. Today I'll be on the road a bit, so I'll get more "real usage" out of it to see how it performs, and lasts though the day.

on both my Note 8 and now the Note 9 about 10% battery would be 1 hour SOT with 2 hour OT roughly, if I can get the same or more from the 6.8 inch screen I'll be happy enough.
Exynos models and always in high performance mode (on the Note 9 I switched the screen to full HD)

So you'd get 10 hrs of screen-on-time?

I did force stop for most of the day today, and it still ran high. Just the day before it ran at half the percentage than it did today. But I am hoping it starts to settle down within the next few days, otherwise I'm screwed because I already traded in my Note8 for this one.

I am in the same boat. Android System is through the roof. Just a few days into this phone. I was getting great battery life the first few days. Now all of a sudden..this take a really bad turn.

You force stop it also?
I like to give a new phone about a week then determine if there a issue.

I did not force stop. I thought that can cause issues? Should I restrict background use for Android System?

It seems a bit better today (crossing fingers), but Android System is still really high.
