First impressions?

Maybe I'm just tone deaf LOL
I've been using the Pixel 3 for so long that maybe I've just gotten so used to how they sound. Either way, I'm moreso on the "this is a keeper" side of things ... A little more than 24 hours with my 6 Pro and very happy with it thus far.

It isn't you, the speakers are only ok.

I don't know what audio on the 3 is like, but side by side with an S21 Ultra the 6 is hollow and tinny.

Got my P6 today and compared it's gg victus to my s21ultra gg victus and my P5a gg 3. If I tap my finger on the s21ultra glass it sounds very solid. I tap on the P6...it sounds very thin and weak, the same as the 5a. This "victus" on the P6 sure seems like gg3.

This may seem a bit silly, but....I just played my preferred bowling game for the first time on the new Pixel 6. Bowled a 276, which included a 7-10 split. Not bad. Am likin' this here phone more by the minute.

I am absolutely love the phone.. I have pixel 6 Green color...
1. I like square look (similar to Nokia Lumia)
2. Brightness is good for me not Samsung bright but good enough.
3. Great screen and speaker.
4 fingerprint scanner is surprisingly work great with my glass screen protector ( I have glass screen protector protect the screen and camera lens.
5. No problem with android 12 except my Starbucks app not working. (Can't lock in)

The only thing make me little concerned is look like the speaker grill might getting dust very easy.

So far so good..

The "lift to check phone" won't turn off. The switch is off but it has no effect. If I'm walking with phone the lock screen will stay on and drain battery.

What screen protector / camera protector are you using? How are you finding the battery life throughout the day based on your usage?

The battery is hard to say because my first day . I charged the phone 100% around 3pm and now at 8:35pm is 74% left.. Screenshot_20211028-203341.jpgScreenshot_20211028-203301.jpg

Could someone comment on the audio quality of the speakers and also the call quality/reception? Thanks

So far it's working good for me . Call quality sounds fine and signal has been fine so far.

I dropped 2 calls today but in both cases it was known bad areas .
One thing I do notice is if it loses signal it gets it back really fast . My s21 you would have to airplane mode it to get it to get a signal again . I would say it's equal to my s21 and my iphone 12. Actually I think it is better than the s21.

But it's only been 1 day. So far.

Pixel 6 Pro is running well, lots of things different from Samsung's, will have to adjust. Brightness ok, sound ok but could be a tad better, pressing down on the screen .. feels like plastic, lots of give to it. The shortcuts from the Note 9 didn't carry over like they did with Smart Switch. Reception is good, battery charging is slow, waiting on Anker 30w Nano to replace 18w how. Camera appears top notch, as mentioned the front glass screen feels like plastic.
