Like I tell my kids, your FIRST Impression is the most important one:
Having only had it a few hours and out and about with it on my day off...I think:
#1...my phone responds much quicker, making it a much 'smartER' phone than before.
#2...it's quicker to get to things on the lock screen; text/camera/phone
#3...the fonts and graphics do seem to make it easier on 50 year old eyes to read.
#4...the screenshot is nice to have, although except for triple digit weather screenshots...I'm not seeing a good use for it as of yet.
#5..Chrome browser friggin flies on this thing.
#6..It's easier to group things together in a pseudo folder.
#7..The widget app is cool, but weird to find. I only know because I have read and watched it being developed.
#8..It definatly uses more battery. It's been off charge since 7 am and it's 1:30 and it's at 50%. I usually go to bed with 50%.
There is something about wiping a cache that some guys are doing I might try.
#9..Haven't had any data drops that I've noticed.
#10...the 'People' app I removed..it appears useless AFAIK. It's just another way to look at the same stuff as in 'Phone'.
#11...the contacts bigger pictures are great...again for 50 year old eyes, much quicker to see.
#12..swiping on the status bar is way better than before.
#13 battery indicator is better, but really want a %..not a graphic pic. I can get that percent in a n app..but it should be enabled in native app to have graphic or % representation.
So, for first and quick impressions..I'm diggin it for sure. I'm sure with more use, like everyone else, I'll find more.
But, with my first few hours as a normal use, it's the bomb for sure.
