OK so im now rooted and CWM installed. Now lets say for instance i want to install dl09 from

[RELEASE] DL09 rom, kernel, radio - xda-developers

It states there is radio, ROM and kernel, radio installed by Odin, and the other two by CWM.

i have ran backup from within CWM. Is there anything else i need to back up? Now what? I read a lot about wiping data and cache, does this mean i will have to re activate phone when done? Because every time i have activated phone i always have to call to do it it never works like its suppose to.

And then i get how to do the radio through Odin, but once thats done, what do i do with the dl09_2.zip and the 1230_NON_voodoo.zip ?

Comprehensive walk through would be appreciated or just answers to these questions. I did look in CWM as well and looked around in the download Rom section but its tad over whelming and a lot of option and i just dont want to mess it up. Will greatly appreciate any help

I would honestly just flash the DJ05 package ([ODIN] Full DJ05 Odin Package - xda-developers). I haven't heard any real differences between DJ05 and DL09.

You'll first want to download Titanium Backup (via Market) and backup all of your apps, system, and user data.

If you've already made a nandroid backup I'd test it out before flashing a new ROM (better safe than sorry!).

The beauty of this DJ05 package is that it only needs to be applied using Odin. No booting into recovery and applying separate packages. All you have to do is reboot your phone in Download Mode, select the DJ05.tar.md5 file in PDA Mode, and click Start.

Once you've flashed you can then restore your apps, user data, etc. using Titanium Backup.

Good Luck! :)

Ok i may do just that, do i have to wipe data/cache? and will i have to re-activate phone after? i do have titanium and run it regularly, and is nandroid backup what CWM does when you open ROM manager and click back up current ROM?

I would have to defer to someone else on the wipe data/cache question. From what I've read it seems like its always a good idea. I didn't have to re-activate my phone after.

You're right, a nandroid backup is whats created when you select "Backup Current ROM" in ROM Manager. This can also be done in Recovery Mode.

I would also copy the entire contents of my sd card to my computer before you start this process.

Ok i may try it, from what i read though that dj05 will remove root and all that so maybe ill do it when i have more time to re-root, or maybe i will play with things in ROM manager once i get more info

Yes - you will have to re-root. Just follow the guide in these forums and it'll be a breeze.
