I received my dark grey HTC One X this morning (thanks Clove!) and I love its soft touch matte finish more than anything else. It's PREMIUM no doubt, and I'm sure many would be as surprised as I was when handling it for the first time. I bought a Galaxy Note too back in November and, though I agree that it's a great device overall, I was somewhat unimpressed by its build and display quality. So, I sold it two days later at break-even price. However, I must say that the official leather pouch that came with the G'Note was vastly superior to the official one that accompanies my One X. The latter?s leather also smells like it was skinned off a decaying rat to the extent that I might not even use it (i.e. for fear of a bad smell seemingly emanating from my crotch when pocketed).
Aside from that, I've owned four different models of BlackBerry since 2009. All were fine except for the Bold 9900, which had to be replaced under warranty due to it bricking after an overnight charge. Although Clove were kind enough to send me a brand new replacement hassle-free, the bricking issue prevalent in OS7/7.1 devices (read: CrackBerry.com) put me off the brand altogether. So, I sold it too.
And, here I am.
