Hi everyone I know that the camera focusing is an annoying issues about the nexus 6 and was wondering if anyone knows a way to avoid the constant auto focusing while recording a video

Simple, in the google camera app, tap on the screen WHILE RECORDING. It will then stay locked / focused on that point(without hunting) unless you move the camera dramatically or the scene changes dramatically.. Tap again to change the focus point.

Thanks for the reply :) I am looking toward something where i can disable focusing and just do manual focusing. in my galaxy s4 camera it never had to focus every 2 seconds of moving the camera and I read somewhere that a person fixed it with an app that allows manual focusing. Although, I couldn't find the application :(

To be clear, I have experienced the refocusing but it stops if I tap on the screen WHILE RECORDING (Tap before recording doesn't help). You did that and it continues to refocus immediately? Are you moving the phone? What are you shooting? Are you using the latest google camera app?
