[FIXED] Outbound call issues after update

There is a significant delay when placing outbound calls after the update yesterday. It takes almost 20 seconds to connect. Anyone else having this issue? Any suggestions?

Having the same problem. Reset my network settings but didn't help.

What carrier are you on? I'm on Verizon. Just curious whether it could be a carrier specific issue.

UPDATE - I figured it out. I deleted the MyVerizon app. All good now.

I have the My Verizon app and don't have any delay at all in calls going through since the update.

Deleting the MyVerizon app worked for me, too! That is an odd fix! Thanks.

I'm on Verizon. I too just deleted the MyVerizon app and the lag is now gone. So strange!

That's what carrier bloatware can do to a phone. That's why a lot of folks do their best to remove it, or get a phone with no bloatware, like an unlocked pixel or even a Moto phone ;-)

So I'm the odd one out who actually uses the My Vzw app. Is there another workaround on this?

I use the My Verizon app, but I don't have the call delay issue. Maybe a commination of this and some other app that I don't have that causes the problem?

Verizon, I had this issue factory reset resolved it

That's painful doing a reset...ugh, I may wait and see if it somehow goes away

For those who had the delay, uninstalled myverizon, and had an improvement in service, did you try reinstalling myverizon? Are calls then still good?

Good question. That was actually the one useful app that Verizon offered.

Yeah, I intend to on reinstalling it later when I need to use it. It is the only thing Verizon actually has on my phone that is useful. I'm wondering if this will fix it. Hopefully Verizon fixes their app cerebral figure out how this is possibly affecting it. That's really bizarre

Force stopping myverizon seems to have worked for me. At least for now.
