I am having the same issue and haven't found a fix either.

Good question. That was actually the one useful app that Verizon offered.For those who had the delay, uninstalled myverizon, and had an improvement in service, did you try reinstalling myverizon? Are calls then still good?
Yeah, I intend to on reinstalling it later when I need to use it. It is the only thing Verizon actually has on my phone that is useful. I'm wondering if this will fix it. Hopefully Verizon fixes their app cerebral figure out how this is possibly affecting it. That's really bizarreSo I'm the odd one out who actually uses the My Vzw app. Is there another workaround on this?
