Fixing battery jump issue. Help

I have a ATRIX running stock 4.5.91 rooted only. Can someone give a link to instructions that will work? I think I need cwm installed but not sure, don't know how to do that either.

i installed the fix a few times using CWM but it never worked. i was able to finally fix it when i upgraded to the Alien 3 ROM with the fix incorporated into it.
