Well it all started with a line crossing horizontally the entire screen. Now i also have unresponsive keys. It's such a pain in the a. to always flip the screen to get a working spot..so i decided to repair it.

I am not very sure a digitizer may be all i need, please help me out here guys I am thinking to buy something like a 20 dollar digitizer glass. It's that glass with some thin cables attached to the upper side.

Would that be a solution? What do you guys think is that enough or should the whole screen be replaced?

Thanks!

Welcome to the Nexus 4 forum. :)

When you say 'line', do you mean a visible line, or simply a horizontal area with loss of touch sensitivity?
If the first, you would need a new screen.
If the second, a new digitiser.
However, do-it-yourself repairs often fail. There are probably YouTube videos of the procedure to give you some idea of how difficult it would be.
