Fixing "No recently used apps" problem.

[Android Central Question]

My Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime revived the Recently used apps by going to the pull down menu, Settings,
Applications,
Application manager,
Google,
Storage,
Clear cache,
Manage storage,
Clear all data.
