Fixing to switch from Z10

I'm thinking about switching to a G3 from a BlackBerry Z10. I always used the Remote File Access, where you can access your files on your home PC wirelessly not just via WiFi but also via MOBILE network. I know that you can use ES File Explorer to do that via WiFi network, but is there an app solution for Android where I can also do that on the mobile network when away from home?

I use Dropbox for all of my files I can access them from anywhere.

AirStream looks like what I need. But I could not find anywhere in the description if it is WiFi only.

Unfortunately there is no direct replacement for RFA. Nor does Blend work on the G3. For now, I use a cloud account for files that I could possibly need while away from home.

Remember that RFA connects to your Z10 with a small VPN hosted by BlackBerry and accessed through your BlackBerry ID. I suspect that a VPN client would allow you similar access. I regularly switch between a G3 and a Z30, and RFA and Blend are two of the things that I really miss (along with the Hub and the keyboard).

One other question: I googled it and it always mentions the download and streaming to mobile device capability. How about uploading files from mobile to PC? Does this work as well?

Allow me to research it more myself.
Thanks for looking into this. I am completely new to Android and have been at the CB site for many years now.
I have googled this topic but I cannot ever find a definitive answer to it all. The AirStream I would use mainly for moving files back and forth. That is what is important to me.
