New to Android (and Android Centall, hi!), I was wondering if there's any free browser that "does" flash and html5 "equally" well...
;)

Puffin Free charges for Flash. Dolphin and UC use the standard Flash Player (available from the Flash Player Archive). Puffin also, contrary to its claims, renders quite slowly. (I didn't run it through a Javascript pounding, but I suspect it wouldn't beat Dolphin.)

I beg to differ. I just tried it out. I use boat browser as my main. Also downloaded dolphin browser, and puffin browser. Compared to the three, dolphin was the slowest.

Thank you both. Will have to take a look at UC & Dolphin.
"Puffin free" is out of the picture due to its weird
"supports Adobe Flash during the daytime everyday" limitation,
making it highly unlikely for me to purchase the commercial version..

Ah, right on then! I also suggest boat browser and maxathon browser. Try em out too!

Both are pretty good as well. Otherwise, stick with dolphin browser then :P

Just to let you all know how this worked out:
Dolphin does what I want it to do, so for now I am happy.
Onward to the next conundrum... :p

Glad it worked out for you!
And yes, it's always exciting finding how to do new stuff with our devices! 😉
