Flash Optimus S to Virgin Mobile?

I've been considering buying another V, but my local Kroger actually sells Optimus S's off-contract for $60...
So, I've heard on the internet that Virgin Mobile legally accepts Optimus S's on their network for activation.
I've contacted them, but...
I'd like to hear from a credible source...

I was just saying that Virgin could answer this question for you better than anyone. If they haven't got back to you after that long, call them.
