flash player not working on new Galaxy S3

Believe it or not, the AG's was my only smartphone, and I purchased it after adobe pulled down flash player. And it also seems that it was never installed in the first place...

Meant to say sgs3 not AG's lol

Ok the reason why I asked was in my google account under all apps I have every app that I ever installed or preintalled app that took a update. For example I have VZ Navigator for DROID X still in my list and I just installed Adobe Flash Player from there.

Open play store on phone > menu > my apps > scroll to the left past installed apps to all apps and see if you can find it in that list.

I did that just now and I didn't see flash player.
I know I have it. But I downloaded it from drop box, not directly from the play store

So is there any way that I can save the updated flash player from my pc, and then transfer the updated version to my galaxy?

What's up guys, I bought two galaxy S 3s Thursday come the find out on the front of one of the boxes printed from the factory not a sticker from Verizon, it says updated, that phone has flash 11.1 on it the one that doesn't have updated on the box don't have flash on it and it seems like I'm unable to install flash on it. I called Verizon and spent time on the phone with Samsung and no one can tell me the difference between the two phones and why one has updated on the box and one doesn't they both have all the same versions of the software on both devices can't find any differences has anyone bought a galaxy 3 that had updated on the box.? Thanks,

maybe theyve started pushin them out with flash now that flash is gona be kept on the s3 after jellybean update?

.....do they have the exact same firmware when you look in "about device"?

very straxge man. wonder if Jerry could explain it. at least you have a version of flash that will get play store updates :)

Has anybody checked in their google account in the play store? Every app I have ever downloaded or updated for any phone I've had is there including Adobe Flash Player which I have successfully installed on my GS3.

Play Store > menu > my apps > scroll to ALL and look for Adobe Flash Player there

Thanks this worked for me

I don't know but I'm thinking that since I had an older version installed that I was able to access this link https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...d=com.adobe.flashplayer&rdot=1&token=wZtn4Ax7 and then Play Store shot the update to my phone..

if you haven't got flash player installed yet, can somebody confirm this link works as a download link for a 1st time download?

I know you are asking for first time download, but I uninstalled flash player from my phone then used your link. I signed into my account then it gave me the option to select device to send it to then hit download, watched my phone and the download arrow in the notification bar started working. Successfully downloaded and back in my app tray.

I forgot to mention I did this with my laptop, could not use browser on the phone.

flash is still on play store (for me anyway) and im assuming the fact that its been installed on this phone before, if i uninstall it, i should be able to reinstall (not gona try though) also adobe are still pushing updates from play store :)

....ps, see how sammy said "jellybean update will let us keep flash on our s3"... does that mean it will come as a system app or that it just wont remove it if we already have it?

It seems that they won't removed it if you already have it

What version of Android are you running. Is it ICS or JB?

I always liked flash player and maybe I will stick with ICS if it doesn't work well with JB.

Does Samsung automatically update the device when it comes out? Or do you have to do it yourself?
