Flash video streaming issue

I am reaching out to the community to attempt to resolve something that has been driving me nuts.

This involves streaming online video from any source that uses flash. Playontv, TV stream, websites, etc.

The issue is that no matter what I've tried, any stream loses audio/video sync after exactly 36 minutes. Up until that point, everything works fine, but a few seconds after the 36 minute mark, the audio begins to play ahead of the video by 1.5 to 2 seconds.

I am making this post to see if ANYONE is having this issue. I know there are many out there that have been streaming flash to their Xoom's, but have any of you guys successfully watched a stream that was over 36 minutes long with no issues/loss of sync?

Right now I'm at the point where it is either an issue with the flash 10.2 being still in beta for Honeycomb, or my Xoom being defective in some way. I am growing urgent due to the fact that my return/exchange window is quickly approaching.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

with tv stream; yes. Always towards the end of what would be an full episode. I've not tried others, though I do have playon, might give it a go.

This is not a xoom issue, I had the same problem with a G Tab, same processor though... perhaps that's the problem?

right now it could be anything, though I'd hope that someone out there has zero problems with tv stream and would add a comment.

I have watched streaming movies from Amazon Prime. In one case I did see this same issue; although, in several others I did not. When I did have the issue I was able to pause the movie and restart it and the problem was corrected.

I am assuming it is a flash issue as well or a bandwidth issue on the Amazon site.

Now that you mention it I was watching Survivor on CBS.com and towards the end I had the same issue. That's the only time so far I've watched anything over 36 minutes so I'm not sure if I was just unlucky that one time or if it would be a common occurance if I watched more video.

Same here with shows from ABC.com. It loses sync after a while. I watched two 1 hour episodes last week; the first worked great but the second was pretty bad for the last 15 minutes. Both were streamed to my TV via HDMI.

I too have observed this watching Cricket match(Sports) through flash drive when I used it for more than 30 minutes.

The few replies that I've gotten do give me hope that this is simply a flash 10.2 issue, as it is still in beta for honeycomb. However with the 230+ views, I would expect to see more feedback if this were the case. I did recently attempt to use a different browser (Dolphin HD) to test if it was an issue with the stock browser. I did find that the stream lasted longer before losing sync, and did a better job of regaining sync on and off before losing it again towards the very end of the video. Sadly, Dolphin HD is many worlds slower at rendering pages and scrolling than the stock browser. I'm hoping for some more feedback, anyone else have success or sync problems with playing streaming flash video over 36 minutes in length?

I too have the same problem. I was on drama fever and 20-30 min in to the video it started to get out of sync. Hopefully the flash guys fix this soon.

I have a problem streaming flash videos on most sites I go to and definitely on the sites I "never go to" ;)
