have been looking around but not having much luck or maybe i am missing it? i flashed jt1134 super clean ROM, loved the look and feel of it but would like to use launcherpro and have all my apps as well...i went into to green clockwork recovery and did a restore, all apps and wallpapers, setup, etc are the way it was 2 days ago, but the look of the new ROM is gone?

so i guess i undid the flash?! i liked the status bar, circle battery, font, etc, but wanted to use my settings i had before...what am i missing and how can i flash this ROM and still use my settings?

thanks!

you will have to setup your phone again with the new rom. you can get titanium back up and back all your apps and data and then in the new rom you can run the restore. every time you flash a new rom you have to do a data and cache wipe or stupid crap will happen to your phone. flash enough roms and you will get real quick at setting your phone. i can have mine up and running again 10 minutes from restart.

Use something like Titanium Backup.... in the market.... to backup your apps and system data then flash your Rom and restore everything.

i used titanium backup and had everything backed up after i rooted...however when i tried to do a restore it wouldn't restore anything? it would start and then just sit there...it didn't do anything for a good ten minutes?!

i am rooted?! :p

i dl'ed the ROM from ROM manager, everything went smooth, just want my apps and settings back on the new ROM...when i tried to do a restore with titanium backup it just sat there at 0% forever

When you went to restore which restore option did you choose?

At the front page of titanium hit "problems " at the bottom and accept the update..then Try missing apps+ data....not all system data
i used the batch option and selected restore missing apps + all system data and then it just didn't do anything...

You have the free version I am guessing you need to install every app individualy if you get the paid version its one click for all apps

With Free version batch will work but you need to hit ok for every app

Sounds like you're more interested in the look versus the software. I'd just recommend restoring your CWM backup, to get everything back, and apply a theme instead of a whole ROM.

ok got it working! thanks a lot...only thing is i am having a problem loading a wallpaper on the homescreen? not a big deal, just kinda weird.

That IS odd. Try restarting the phone, clear dalvik cache and fix permissions in CWM. It's always my first step to clear up any little problems.
