I have a long standing problem with my phone clock widgets not updating so I have decided to use Odin to flash back to my carrier's Stock 4.0.4 firmware and then flash to the official Samsung UK generic 4.1.1 XXDLJ4 Jelly Bean Stock ROM.
I have read in several places now that we should never need to use PIT in Odin but in my ignorance I am sure that in the recent past I have flashed a ROM using ODIN and the download and instructions included a pit file.
When I revert to the Stock firmwares above, will that correct anything I may have done using pit in Odin or is there something I need to do separately to re install the correct PIT first?
Also, do I need to flash to 4.0.4 first and then to 4.1.1 or can I just flash straight to 4.1.1? Thanks
My current phone status is as follows
Galaxy S3 GT-I9300 (UK)
Android 4.0.4
ROM: CyanogenMOD 9.1.0-i9300
Kernel: 3.0.15-CM-g026d5ce
Modem: I9300DXELK1
