Flashing pen icon

I have noticed on a couple of occasions a flashing a pen icon on the top-right of my screen next to you the signal indicator at the battery indicator, etc. On both of these occasions the pain has been in the holder and in fact had not been used for a couple of days prior to seeing the flashing icon. Any ideas as to what this is?

Any ideas as to what this is?

Mine periodically does that to. Does it when I change themes from Samsung theme store too. Maybe it supposed to do that. Maybe it is checking to make sure spen is still in. I wouldn't worry as long as the spen does was it is supposed to. And I don't blame you for asking. I was curious too but I'm sure it's just how it works.

I saw it once so far myself. I just thought maybe it was the pen recharging itself as it only displays itself for about a minute.
