Flashing ROM Epic 4g Stops at Samsung loadup

i have cmw4
when ever i try to install a rom zip from my sd card , it updates installs then i hit reboot system
it turns on then goes to samsung load up screen and does not change
is there like an updated CMW i need or what ??

pretty much a root my phone and have cmw4 for my epic 4g : do i need anything else for roms. or can some one give me a rundown on why it keeps doing this.

i know how to unroot it and bring it back with odin so luckily fones not broke lol

what were u running when your phone was working??? rom? modem? kernel?
what were u trying to flash?? and do you mean cwm4 acs recovery???
you have to make sure you wipe when installing a rom...
now that your phone gets stuck at samsung logo..

can you still boot into recovery?

ei22 starsky rom : yes
i wiped cache and wiped dalvik cache
then hit install from sd it installed then i hit reboot and thats when it never changed from samsung
and no i cant get into recovery

I would definately at this point try doing Odin back to Froyo EB13... Procedure #2 from the thread below.
