Flashing with odin not working

just tried to flash singapore singtel firmware which is not even global, odin pass all 100% but upon restart everything is still all XFV and vodacom bloat.

so for some reason my note is definately not even taking the firmware it seems. its like odin sends it all successfully but then the phone is just like nope

@mustang7757 im back, i read on another forum to use comsy odin but that also didnt work as odin needs to be v3,13 to work on these new notes. anyways so i found on XDAdev website the patcheD 3.13 version which should be like comsy only newer. i even checked clear nand flash and even put in the pit file but still sure enough. there is that damn vodacom screen....

ive also used different cable and different pc and still same result
I'm going to look into this later

check the link galactic zoo provided, it seems samsung has some sort of security measure preventing me from doing what i want to do, ill just have to wait until its cracked i suppose
Ahhh I see ...I will still look this up to get familiar with the new block they got going on .

Make sure the CSC file isn't CSCxxxxHOME. You want the plain, "it wipes your data", CSC file.

Don't lose hope. I had a similar issue. I used a utility called Samkey to change my CSC. There are a few steps involved and it will cost you a couple bucks but it works. Here's a link to the meat and potatoes:

Hi I know this thread is a few months old but I'm having the same issue, except on the Note10 (SM-970F). I want to change firmware so that I can use the dual sim functionality which Vodacom block. Did you manage to find a way how to flash the stock Samsung firmware without the "Erasing" after Odin flash?

Edit: The SM-N970F is not dual sim, so that explains the lack of dual sim in settings.. doesn't solve the Odin flash erase issue though.
