I use power toggle with flashlight toggle on the notification and lock screen widget.

All-in-One solution. I haven't tested it on Moto X yet though

Mine is called Flashlight. Has a widget, works great.

If you want to use a Motorola Mobility app, DroidLight works well and is simple.

Been using Nexus Light. Used it on my GNex and still using it on my Moto X. Never had an issue.
Using Nova Launched too so its set to launch and turn on with a double tap of the home screen.

I've tried several Flashlight apps before switching to Simple LED Widget. Before, my go to flashlight app would be TeslaLED, but It would lag for about 2-3 seconds before it actually turns on the phone's light. I experience no lag with Simple LED Widget and it also features a lock screen widget!
