Flickering call screen

I am using the Zenfone 550ml, 2gb ram version. Over the last month or so I have noticed that whenever I try to disconnect a call the call screen flickers a lot, for about 3-5 seconds before steadying and letting me disconnect. Sometimes the screen switches off and neither double tapping nor pressing the unlock button will help unless I wait another 5 seconds or so.

Also my phone has restarted while in my pocket about 6 times within the last month.

I think I have all the latest updates installed.

Is there anything I can do? Also any news on 5.1?

Update your Asus callings screen App to the latest version clear cache.

Reboot to recovery & wipe cache partition

Update your device to the latest firmware version

As per Zentalk forums there is no news for 5.1 update yet.
