After a day without it I put the case back on. I missed it do much.

I find that the camera is not an issue because of voice commands. Flip it open/hold camera and say "shoot". Makes it easy for me to deal with. If i actually had to take one hand off of the device to hit a button to take a picture then the case would get in the way.

I finally messed around with this and it sure makes the camera easy to use. Thank you.

It's a beautiful thing right? Works great also, ,no glitches. Always have 2 hands on the device while you take a picture.
Note 2, it's true, ,size is everything!
Yes, it solves my main and only real complaint. I am nt a big picture taker but when I want the take one I can. I had to enable S Voice since I never did it beforehand.

I'm interested in a flip case for front screen protection. My question, which seems obvious, is that what does one do with such a case if they prefer to dock their phones? Is it even doable? The case I have in mind is for the Galaxy note 2, Spigen Ultra Flip Metallic.

I have the official Samsung flip cover, and it works just fine in the iBolt dock
Thanks Mike-Mike. That ibolt dock seems more like a clamp, as opposed to say the Samsung OEB dock. Some of the Galaxy Note (2) docks merely have a pin that connects to the phone while it is stays in an upright, vertical position. So, I am specifically wondering how folks with flip covers might still be able to use a dock like this one:
Samsung Galaxy Universal Multimedia Desktop Dock
Is it doable? Does one keep the front cover open like a book? I figure one certainly cannot fold the front cover back and insert the phone into such a dock.
thx

I bought this one, should be here tomorrow. It looks like with the samsung flip it will work. Also if you blow up this picture there seems to be a slim case on this note 2.

the way the samsung cover is designed,, I am pretty sure,, could be wrong,, that at the very least it will work with flip cover open. I will report as soon as it arrives today. What has me not worried is the pic I posted, that phone is in a case. To be continuedI had that RND charger for my Galaxy S2 and loved it. Not sure if the Flip Cover will fit into it, though, unless they've given them more wiggle room than they used to have. I know they make them with a removable insert around the charging plug and inner sides now so that you have more clearance when you have a thin case on it. Just wasn't sure if there was enough for the flip cover.
Always did love that design, though. Very secure and looks nice. Are you using the charger that came with it or a 2 mAh charger like the one that came with the GN2?
EDIT: In fact, I was going to get that very charger if I didn't have the 50% discount coupon from Samsung for registering my GN2.
