Flossy says keep your Note 9 over the s10 Plus

I'm keeping my Note 9.

And my S10+.

I've disabled the fingerprint scanner and just using swipe to unlock but I'm fine with that. I'm doing the same on my Note 9. I'm very happy with my S10+ especially after using it while out tonight.

The S10 isn't supposed to be a Note 9 replacement. Two separate phone lines for different types of users.

Why no fingerprint? I saw a video where the response was improved by training the same finger more than once... it was reported that the fingerprint unlock worked much better!

I wouldn't dream of going back to the S series after having a Note phone for the past couple of years. I use the spen a lot so a Note is very important to me. The S series doesn't really interest me much at all. I'm a Note girl and I plan to stay that way.

Same. Well, Note Man.

I wish the Note was released the same time as the S line so I wouldn't have this itch. However, other than speed the S10 is a downgrade to the Note 9 basically. No spen but also no iris unlock which boggles me why they'd take it away and yet charge a Kings ransom for it.

Btw I was looking at the S10 Samsung rugged case for the s10 line and it's a joke. The thing is thinner than the Note 9 one and it has virtually no lips on it and even more thin than the Note 9. I can't see how that's called rugged. It's like the cheap, thin $7 ones on Amazon.

It's been said several times that if you're a heavy s pen user the s 10 isn't the phone for you. As far as the Iris scanner, I think Samsung called it right, vast majority of us do not need that kind if security, it's in your head. We want the notch, we don't want the notch, we want bigger screens, we want this we want this. It never ends. Samsung gave us the front camera, which I could do without and they gave us face unlock. If they would have made the hole bigger to give us Iris scan people would complain on that. I think they did it right, face unlock is secure enough for the average user, the ones that need more security, there's PIN and pattern unlock.

I never buy or upgrade phones/tech or cases til I see if Flossy has a video and review on it...been following him for yrs now.

I'm gonna keep my note 9 for quite a while. If the new phones don't have the led light (which i rely on a lot as I don't like my screen waking all the time) then I don't want them. I feel like the look and design is getting to be more and more like Iphone.

Perhaps if enough people gripe, samsung will bring it back after a short respite, like they did with the micro SD card, but I doubt the missing led will get the same level of attention.

I'm waiting patiently for the Note 10. As usual most of the quirks of the Galaxy S phone will be ironed out with the Note phone. With the added S Pen.

He made some valid points about the led indicator going AWOL and the curved "fad" screen. I hope someday we get a flat screen large 7" device.
