There's no Fm radio on that I have found . You would think if there was there be an FM radio app that came preinstalled, like the Evo 3 D did

I'm working on my procrastination issues, you just wait and see!

I do agree that Tune In is good (I like iheartradio the best though) but it doesn't have my favorite radio station.

The definitive answer is no. xda-developers.com have an extensive thread discussing this issue.

My favorite/local radio station has an app!

There is always an app. As for Hatchettjack, who in the world roams around in other forums to brag about the phone they have? Really, nobody here cares about your phone. That is why there are separate forums. Most of us have had an Evo 4G a year or 2 ago and we have UPgraded and are for the most part really happy with our Samsung device. We just like to complain sometimes. :) But why go backwards for an (awsome) FM radio?....no thanks. I had a portable FM radio 45 years ago. There is a reason they stopped making them.

Of course you can access a lot of radio stations thru apps but how many stations have their own app? That's the point I was trying to make.

I had a Droid X from Motorola. I could put FM Radio app on it. Worked great. I can install many streaming radio apps.

THE PROBLEM IS: When I want to listen to Tiger baseball, or Lions or MI State Univ football etc. they DO NOT allow stations stream the content.

THEREFORE: I can get all the local college and major league spors on any FM radio turned to the local FM station carrying the game.

BUT: The station can NOT stream the game. So when I go to a local FM station that streams (with any streaming app), it says "We can not stream this game due to copyright laws" The teams want you to pay to hear the game on a pay to listen site.

That is why I need a local FM receiver in my Galaxy S3, I and many other fans who moved from Motorola to Samsung will be very pleased
when some make an FM radio app for Galaxy S3. I would glady PAY for this app.

Bob, wish I had an FM app, Bergg. Grand Rapids MI

Have you ever tried to get Internet at a major sporting event? I can't load my scores app or get a text out without a huge delay, streaming would be impossible. Going to the Lions Vikings game today, will bring my ZuneHD - it gets the FM HD stations. One problem for games that didn't seem to exist 5+ years ago - the games are severely delayed so you hear what happened 10 seconds later. Not quite as enjoyable as the olden days of near live radio and action. Still it is nice to have if there is something going on the field and you want to find out what is going on..
