folder extenders?

I don't know about extenders but you most certainly can with Nova launcher.

How many are you trying to get in to a single folder? What version of Android OS are you running? What device?

I'm not really a big fan of nova launcher
I have a huawei ascend mate running android version 4.1.2 and the max icons pets a folder is 25 where as I'm looking for about 50
is there any other options?
