Honeycomb doesn't re-size fonts when using pinch to zoom on tablets similar to on smartphones. I believe it's because of a patent violation related to Apple's owning patent # 7,966,578. I was thinking that it would not be a violation if the display or device had a button to re-size the image. The patent embodiment states that the image is re-sized by the gesture done with two contacts on the screen. If you used one touch of a button, I would think that would be fine. The re-sizing would make everything easier to read for everybody, especially for the visually impaired, like me with one eye. Any alternative opinions, idea or offerings would be great. Hopefully we can improve the eco-space for the working bees!
