Among my coworkers, I use the Pixel 2 XL, 3 coworkers use the iPhone X, 1 the iPhone 8, and 2 use Galaxy S8/S8+.
We laid them out and all agreed that the three iPhone X's all have roughly the same - and the most - color shift, followed by the Pixel 2 XL, then closely by the rest (though the S8 is reddish shift so it's difficult to gauge the degree of color temperature change with the naked eye).
That said, not a single one of them had ever noticed it before the comparison, nor were any of them (or I) concerned about it as they all felt it would never practically impact them.
Everyone's opinion is valid for theirself, but for me, it's like choosing a seat from which to watch my television. If the seat facing basically directly towards it is the most comfortable and available, how often and why would I choose to sit way off to the side?
