For anyone in AT&T using stock text messages

I am using stock text messinger and when I text someone and they respond, their message shows before the one I sent.
Anyone else have this problem or know why it's happening?

had this issue on my note 9 all the time, it was fixed when I got my 10. Hopefully it just resolves itself.
