If you have recently gotten a Pixel 6/6 Pro, did it come with all the latest patches and updates? Does it have many of the problems being reported by folks who bought theirs a while back?

I just got mine about a week or so ago - ordered from Google. 6Pro, extra memory.

I have not really run into any issues although I am not up on all the issues people have encountered. But I've read about some of them. Moved from a Pixel 3. Still not sure that I like a phone this large but other than that....

Good to know :). I wish it were a little shorter too. How do you like/dislike the curved screen?
Some of the issues are inconsistent cell/WiFi reception, wonky fingerprint sensor, poor battery life, weird Auto Brightness behavior, and a bunch of other bugs. Some people's phones are plagued with problems, some have virtually zero problems. Just wanted to see if it's safe to jump into the Pixel Pool.

I got my Pixel 6 about a week ago. I bought it from Amazon. I had to update the patches. It works pretty well overall, but the fingerprint sensor occasionally doesn't read.

got mine from Amazon a few weeks ago. It was current on updates. FPS is still not perfect. My wifi wants to turn on by itself even after I changed the settings. I just downloaded the second February update.

Got mine a week back. Purchased from swappa in mint condition. Usually when setting up a new phone, I always connect to wifi, download and install all updates, reset and reconfigure. I found no issues and is running great.

Got mine the day the Feb update dropped. Had to update it.
It's been flawless for me. No regrets (Pixel 6 Pro).

I haven't even found the fingerprint reader to be that bad. I find that if I just TOUCH it rather than press on the display even a little, it reads/unlocks 99% of the time for me.
Yea, it's not the fastest though.

Got mine a few days ago and when I checked for updates, the most current one it had was November... Spent a WHILE getting the updates installed. I don't think I've had any issues but I also came from a 2XL so it's possible I just haven't noticed.

This is good to hear. I'm thinking of upgrading from the 4xl.

My P6P has been fine. I am now running the 12L beta and it's very smooth and responsive. No dropped calls or Wi-Fi or Bluetooth problems. In fairness, I never used the FPS so I can't comment on it. I would say go ahead and get one, on the condition you can return it if you run into problems.

Got my Pixel 6 pro just yesterday. Came with the November patch, I didn't really encounter any issues.

Have since then updated to the latest February patch. Everything working well so far.

Large and heavy compared to my Pixel 3, so it just needs some getting used to. Otherwise, no complaints.

I'm keeping up with this blog as I'm waiting to trade in my iPhone 12 Pro max. Biggest mistake I made was being talked into getting an iPhone. Never had one, and I never will again. I've always been a google man, although I did have a Note 7 back in the day. You know what happened with that phone. Anyway, I still have my trusty Nexus 6, aka, the whale.

Appreciate all the replies here...considering jumping from the 5 to the 6Pro. I know two people with it and they've both reported only minor annoyances like mentioned here. Still trying to decide what I want to do :D

I had the 5 was a beast but 6pro is a worthy upgrade

good to hear that take from someone in the same boat :D
One thing you wont get the battery life like the 5 but get a day or 5 to 7 SOT , 6pro display and 120hz suck some of the battery up but trade-off for something really good in return
